South East , Manitoba , Canada | I had one last week 4 days old a big weather shift happened (temp dropped to -21C with a strong wind) and he got "off" . The Mrs. thought that he was a goner for sure. I tubed him with warm electrolites and kept him warm (hence the bath room pictures) next morning the vet gave him a shot of Nuflor and an antiinflamatory... he responded well. I kept him in another 12 hours and then into the barn for a couple of days ... out of the wind and cold.
My experience is that it could have gone either way... this one I managed to save.
