| Like Roy, I use the bag colostrum. At my age it's not worth it for me getting crippled up trying to break a cow to milk. Some calves are just stupid.
Ben has the right idea. If you had kids that wanted to mess with the calf it would be different, but you obviously have better things to do this time of year. Send the calf down the road at the next opportunity, and the mama after she dries up. | |
