I notill into older stands where the alfalfa is thinning out. Last year I notilled orchard and clover into several alfalfa/reed fields. The winter and our 4th cut put some hurt on it. It was too soon to rotate to corn, so I figured it was a good method to stretch the hay fields life. This year I am trying festulolium w/clover on 2 fields. I have plenty of corn ground and I need haylage acres.
