Saranac, Michigan
We have been runing RTK for nearly ten years on roadbuilding jobs around the country, matching grade stakes every 50' day after day. I cannot tell you that grade stakes are perfect, but generally they are a good test for RTK. Running it on graders, dozers and trimmers that finish grade for concrete. There are over a hundred systems running with very little downtime.
We also have tile plows and trenchers that have been installing tile for nearly as long. In the last two years we have set up at least 50 scrapers running RTK for ditching and land shping. Used to run a laser/RTK combination until the customers started running RTK only and not using the lasers.
We have always thought that standards would be an excellent idea. Testing in the real world preffered. Good training, good people and good equipment, irreplacable
