I absolutely agree with you - this is a great effort, and I applaud it wholeheartedly.
Ayrstone is merely trying to help growers understand the tools, technology, and products so they can make effective use of both the standards that are being developed and the eventual comparisons that will come of those standards. Our goals are much simpler, and focused entirely on the grower, not on the industry.
