Don't know about the vertical component. I totally agree with you. My family has been moving dirt for years, and since RTK for Ag has become for commonplace, I've been told several times it is as good or better than the 'ole laser. I've been trying to get a copy of the preliminary documentation to see what exactly is being considered.
