Subject: RE: Local jobs lost.

NW TN, Dyersburg
I almost responded to the barcode/China posts earlier. One day this past wk I had to return the new primary fuel filter for my Ford 6.0 to NAPA (silver bc they were out of gold at the time) because it wouldn't work, it wouldn't spin inside the cap, tolerances were too tight........ on the filter "Made in China". Next day got the Gold one and it worked fine but I failed to notice where it's made, plan to check it at NAPA. Just yesterday I was told of striking employees (in '07 or '08) at a Goodyear plant in the area still drawing $44 per hr while on strike. Seems to be something wrong here, it appears that unions have milked this country dry and way too many jobs sent overseas/Mexico only to supply us with inferior products while our country experiences such high unemployment. Some things (like our government) are way out of control.
