WCIN | Not sure how the insurance figures it but 3yrs. ago my son started driving I already had four vehicles at the time, I had him driving the oldest junkiest veh. we had. Insurance only went up approx. $50 a year called them twice to confirm this was right. Has to do with what veh. each driver is placed on as primary driver.
Somehow they jockey them around to get you the cheapest rate, I am pleased..
Recently my daughter now is driving, Had to purchase another veh. for my son for fuel mileage reasons, so now I have 5 veh. he is driving the one I bought 2003 grand am. My daughter is driving the old beater he had (90 Daytona) with her now on the policy insurance is approx. $600 highwer per yr. I am still very pleased!
Of course of the 5 veh. only 2 have full coverage/collision 3 are liability and comp. only
