Our electric power was restored last night. Was without for 6 days. Had a broken pole and wires down about a mile from my place. On the other side of my place there is a least a mile and half of down poles. Plowed a path for them yesterday. Not sure how many poles were down in the system, but a lot.

Had the generator running most of the time so wasn't too bad, but this is so much better. I think it used about 30 gallons of diesel per day, not cheap electricty.

Glad I'm a grain farmer and no livestock.
