It sounds like a lot of hype and a little bit of truth in a topic where perception often matters more than fact.

Ex.: Why would a farmer give his cows "feed pumped with toxic chemicals"? Are "organic" products truly better if growing them means more soil erosion or more land taken to produce the same yield? OTOH, I have been in layer houses and know most consumers wouldn't want to dwell on that over their breakfast eggs.
