Wisconsin | The whole story from the very beginning to end for me. At the very least someone should have packed and left. Heck I might have even offered to take the whole family away for the night after blowing up the necessities. I do remember winter of 76 when electric lines went down mom and dad packed the family and went to the farm of grandparent's to stay the night. Something went wrong with generator so went back home. The next day went back to farm as generator was fixed and stayed that day and night. The following day went to my Aunt's for the day and either that night or the following morning the power was back up at home. We had a bunch of electrical changed at the farm this year and we tried the Alternator to make sure it worked okay. One electrician went with boss to turn milking pump on and other and I stayed to monitor the tractor and alt. He said they hooked a brand new JD generator up for a farmer he had it secured to a pad on all 4 corner's and when they threw the main power switch the generator tore loose and started spinning destroying it. | |
