I also wanted more up to date images in Apex. After reading the posts here I downloaded Geo Express and was able to use MrSid data obtained from the FSA office for my county. I was able to zoom in to my fields and save as Jpeg files with world files and they imported into Apex just fine. Everything lined up correctly. I have not tried to load them into my GS2 2600 yet.
