Ashburn, GA, (very close to Heaven!) | Farm Works Calibrate will indeed open and convert a Sid to its format, provided the original Sid is not too big. I tried the original 125 MB MrSid file for my home county in FW Calibrate, and my computer ran out of memory. I then shut down every application I could and tried again. Well, this time it JUST ABOUT FINISHED before running out of memory, and generated a FW Calibrate ready TFW file that was over 1 GB in size! There is no way to work with that. Those TIF's just are hard drive space hogs. I use the Geo Viewer to scale down the image size and they work fine then.
