Nevada, Iowa | ............... with the wife and I wasn't even trying. I was working in the shop this afternoon and came in about supper time only to encounter an iceberg. When she finally decided to speak, I kinda wished she hadn't, she was mad as a wet hen. Seems I had left my cell phone in the house all day and a voicemail had come in and she thought she'd check it out. It was some lady claiming we had met at the library, wanting to go on a date. I told the wife that it must have been a wrong number, last time I was in a library was 1975. I didn't get a chance to find out where the call had come from or what the message said, she got mad before it was done playing and pitched my phone in the dishwater.
I don't normally make posts like this but we've never had a spat over something like this. I guess I have two questions 1. How do I convince her that this is a mistake? 2. Will insurance cover my cell phone? HELP? | |
