The situation with your dad must not be too overbearing, or you would not have had the opportunity to have wife and kids in your life in the first place.  Be glad you have wife and kids.  Fifty years from now, your kids could be just as successful as anyone else's.  More often than not, success does not mean rich and famous. 

I know I like to complain about the government and everyone else getting in my way, but I only have to look in the mirror to see the person who has held me back the most.  Hindsite did not teach me this as soon as I wish it had.
