Kittitas Co. Wa. State

If you've not seen the Puget sound region it is dang beautiful too. Especially in summer time. If you were to hit the Skagit valley at the right time,,

They must do pretty good raising Tulips, sure is alot of miles of tulip fields.

If considering that type of route, do swing thru Port Townsend. Remember the movie "Officer and a Gentleman" ??   Ft. Warden (believe) is still there you can wander the grounds visit some of the old quarters/officer's row/and the concrete bunker system. Warden was 1 point of a 3 point fort system at the neck of Puget sound. Built before Civil war. 3 forts were built so the overlaping fields of fire would protect Puget Sound. History of old places like that are pretty interesting If interested in that sorta thing.
