Eastern Washington
I agree with 95h, go east on I 90 through the kittitas- ellensburg valley, great Timothy hay region all irrigated, over the hill again to Quincy and Moses lake and see pretty much everything being grown in the state, from orchards, to green peas, sweet corn, potatos, alfalfa hay, onions, just to name a few. Go past Moses Lake a few miles and you get out of the irrigated area into a dryland wheat fallow area around Ritzville, it's not really the polouse yet. When you get to Spokane, go south towards Colfax, Pullman area to see the heart of the Polouse, harvest won't be started yet in June but you'll get an idea whats going to happen. From there maybe go towards Walla Walla to get into some great Wine country, and then on up to the Tri-Cities for more of the columbia basin type country, this is the south basin probabley 2-3 weeks ahead of the Quincy Moses Lake area. From there maybe go up the Yakima Valley, to Sunnyside, then Yakima you'll see more wine country, apple orchards, and the truck gardening. then you get back to the Ellensburg area. Just a few thoughts.
