NE Kansas | Good that you are doing well and caught the problem early I had mine taken out 26 years ago. They said if I had waited 24 more hours before going to the doctor, I would be dead. The funny thing is they could not find my appendix. They cut me from my navel to my side. That is 90 degrees. Big scar. So I can imagine that they had my intestines outside my body, looking around the kidneys, etc. Then they go ahah found it.
The bad or good thing is that getting out of bed is not easy. With that much cutting, getting out of bed is like putting a big knife in the stomach. Hurts like he77. Lived through it. You can laugh now and show the scars. Take it easy. it is cold. I hope you don't have any animals. Going to have to take it easy for a few days.
