Macon, MO | It all started Wed. with a pain in my side, wife finally nagged enough I went to the Dr. Thurs. morning and after a blood test and a CT scan I was on the operating table for a emergency surgery at 7:00pm and in my room around 9:00 without my appendix. Luckily it hadn't ruptured yet but very swelled and ready to burst, they said it was a good thing they got it before it popped because it would mean alot more time in the hospital watching the infection that it dumps in your stomach. Got home Sat afternoon and really sore but nothing a few pills won't take care of but can't lift over 10 lbs or drive for a week that's what's going to be the hard part. I guess I spend alot of time on here. Had a really good Dr. and nurses at Boone Hospital so that help alot, they actually seemed liked they cared. I guess I might have to listen to the wife more often but I won't tell her that. | |
