Not sure if it is what you a re talking about or not, but we just put in some of the top-of-the-line Pergo floors. They just snap together with no gluing or nailing. The good stuff already has the foam backing on it. We are really happy with ours. Got it at Lowe's on sale for $2.79 sq/ft.
