Dressing in layers is the key to staying warm in this cold. I start out with long johns under the jeans and wool socks. I have a pair of military issue insulated boots that are cumbersome and a PIA to lace up but they are warm. Leather chopper mitts with yellow chore mitts inside for liners. Brown duck bibs and a brown duck overcoat with hood. And a good Scotch cap of some kind is always imperative.
