WCIL | Don't use flex auger! Flex auger can't move shelled corn. We found out the hard way. Had it set up and had corn in the bin. My husband got hurt and didn't have a the ablility to fix it till summer. So we hauled corn in by the 5 gallon buckets all winter.
My in-laws have a white feed bin at the back of their house year round. Doesn't bother them since they can keep their big farm house at 80*. I might live there someday. I might try planting a few bushes to hide it a little. | |
