Did that years ago, got my thumb caught in the roller putting brakes in the Pete. Toughed it out till about 2 AM, then sat at the kitchen table. Worst part, I was changing trucking companies and was heading out on Monday (this was on Sat) to sign up. Drug test required and I had used up a pretty good supply of the wife's Tylenol 3. So when at the Doc's office that Monday for the physical, I mentioned I might fail the drug test. When he asked why, I showed him my thumb with neat perfect little hole in the middle of the nail. He commented on a dang good ER Dr to do such a nice job. His face went white when I told him I did it myself. He made a note on the paper work the codeine present in my system was warranted...... LOL. | |
