Nevada, Iowa | I've tried the paper clip and couldn't stand the heat, couldn't hold either hand still enough to do it. The wife is too squeamish to do it so years ago I started using sterile disposable needles that we always had around for hog health care. I can just twiddle it back forth between finger and thumb tips without much pressure, pretty soon it'll spurt. Relatively little extra discomfort. I decided to tough it through one many years ago and I think it would have hurt less to cut the finger off, that was one painful sob. | |
