I guess it depends on how much you use it. I've got a pretty good Sharp analog copier out in the chikenhouse that only needs one little cable replaced. But I have decided not to spend the money on fixing it. I have a desktop Samsung MFP I bought at Staples for just over $100. It has a parallel and a USB pot, so it's connected to both computers at the same time, it works as a printer, copier, and scanner and takes up about a foot and ahalf square on top of my filing cabinet. It costs LOTS less to use than my inkjets, makes a nice copy, and has been trouble free. However, if I anticipated using the copier a lot I would go get another new digital copier that did everything my MFP does and is built for heavier use, kind of like this Sharp: |
