I would just go with a good quality scanner. Then you have a digital image. You can store a lot of stuff in a lockbox that.
Another option would be a MFD Multi-Function Device. (not the tractor type of MFD). Those can Scan, Fax and/or Print. Hp and Canon both make good MFDs other too I just know those. Just depends on how much money you have/want to spend.
