DeKalb, IL | Ron, I work with at least 3 people who have taken on the Comcast phone service (I'm up in DeKalb County). I haven't because their flat rate service is higher than I'm paying for Verizon's conventional service. As to Comcast's reliability, I know that two of the three have had loss-of-service problems in the last couple of weeks due to Comcast's computer setting problems. Fortunately, each has cell phone access, but these folks were without telephone service for 3 to 5 days. That makes me a little cautious about their system yet. | |
