Dan, My old 'puter had Norton on it & I wasn't pleased with it. Seemed to slow everything down. When I got my new Dell last summer it had the 30 day free trial for Pc-cillin and gave that a try then tried AVGFree which IMO was better than the either Norton or Pc-cillian plus the fact it was free didn't hurt.
