| I have tried downloading the AVG 75Free_423a904.exe & keep getting a "installation filkes are corrupt. Please try downloading a fresh cpoy & retry installation" Also get the same message when I try to download the trial version of the paid version.
Sorry, but am pretty much computer illiterate. Not sure what to do now. I have updated 7.1 thinking that might help to no avail. I do have Spybit Search & Destroy running. Should I shut that down & retry? Thought about removing current version of AVG free but then my computer would be pretty much unguarded.
BTW, I'm running XP Media Version, would there be a filter of some type on it that is causing the problem? Also am on dialup & running an "accelerator"
