In case A, a cig-lighter power cord that exactly matches your laptop is enough, but it most of the time is laptop specific, so when you change your laptop, you have to change the power cord.
In case B, I would advocate purchasing an inverter: you have no more hassles with your printer, no hassles with whatever appliance you connect, but keep in mind you are not at home, so do not try to suck more power out of it than you should, plus keep in mind it is drawing power from your battery! You might have some difficulties starting if you let it run too long without running your engine! |
