Subject: Re: Any one use GPS for driving maps

Northern Illinois
I've been using Delorme Street Atlas USA, with their Earthmate GPS receiver for almost 2 years now, www.delorme.com and can't hardly drive without it. I drive about 50000 miles a year, and this program guides me most all of the time. I can plot shortest, or quickest routes. I just got the latest 2007 version last week, and it still doesn't have Rte. 20 completed across Iowa. It will display MPH, elevation, and lat./long. Does offer audible directions. Quite a database is available for searching for "points of interest." IE: Dairy Queen! I only paid $76.00 on Ebay, and I've got a laptop mount in every vehicle.
