Subject: Re: Any one use GPS for driving maps

Grand Rapids, MI
I have used Microsoft Streets and Trips a fair amount. It works pretty well, I bought their kit with the USB GPS unit that I put on my dash. No problems with the GPS. I am sure it isn't that accurate, but all it needs to do is figure out what road I am on and direction I am heading. I found their maps though to be fairly outdated. They put in a few miles of new expressway near my house, opened November of 2004, and it was not yet in the 2006 version. I have not checked the 2007 yet. I don't mind the voice prompts, although it does not automatically re-route you if you go off course.

All in all though, well worth the $90 I spent on it.
