AR Plowboy and Don are both right.  You can get yield from the monitor without having GPS connected.  There must be a setup problem on the monitor.  I have not operated that monitor, so I can not begin to tell you how to do it.  But, the things to look at will be the speed calibration and operating width (header width).  Those two factor (plus the flow rate from the yield sensor) are the main things that will effect the yield calculation.  You said the moisture is working correctly.  You could also have a yield sensor problem.  If that is the problem, the yield will not work with GPS either.  Another thing to look at will be if you need to tell the setup whether or not a GPS is connected.  It may be looking for on when it in not there.  The manual will be a good place to start. Some times it helps to be a the monitor when reading the manual also.
