School Of Hard Knock - 4/26/2024 20:20  The amperage draw should match the wiring and those 2 things need to match the breaker and the service box/ feeder line/ and transformer capabilities and THERE is a reason for different blade designs of those plugs. Its to NOT plug the wrong sized loads into the wrong amperage breakers and wiring.

Make the breakers and wiring big enough for a 50 amp load and use 50 amp plugs.   The motor should have its own overload to protect itself.

Problem solved.

If you have a bin site with electric, sooner or later you're going to want to run a motor bigger than 5 hp (30 amps).
