Subject: RE: Single Pass Corn Stalk Bale

NW Iowa
About the closest we have come to this is removing the combine chopper to windrow the fodder that comes out the back and round baling only those two rows with the dropped fodder between them. Thousands and thousands of bales were made this way in my area to feed an ethanol plant. A lot of bales came off my farm for that plant. It left maybe 75 to 80 percent of the trash in the field. It takes a few days here in Iowa to let the corn trash dry before it is safe to bale.
