For brazilian situation we can not take out all corn stalk because we need some material to cover the soil. I think the single pass system behind the combine would be the best solution for us.

Same here. Most years it needs to lay a few days or you risk bale fires.

I have heard that Yetter Devastators do as good a job as a mower. Would still need to rake them before baling.

We mow (discbine) and rake before baling. After doing some custom stalk baling jobs we figure we get about twice the bales if you rake without mowing, and about 4x the amount of bales per ac compared to just straight behind the combine.
