Iowa | Make sure you give them a timeline to get done. Had one across some of our farms 15 years ago and it took them all summer. It was a pain in the ass. Had to go way out of the way to get to half the farm. Make sure they put it back better than they found it. The trench changes things underground. Anytime you do any underground work around the line, it will cost you more. Make sure they will come back in fix tile for 10 years around it. Dont let them forget they are making money on the line forever, using your ground. You are only getting paid once for it. | |
