That's what we always used at the junk yard when I worked there in high school. The longer torches either have a 90 or straight end I always preferred the 90 and they shoot a lot of oxygen out the tip when you want it to blast right through the thick stuff. We used big liquid oxygen tanks but hooked up the gas side not the liquid and then ran propane instead of acetylene. The liquid oxygen lasted longer than regular compressed oxygen and propane is way cheaper than acetylene and for cutting scrap you don't need cleaner cuts like acetylene will give you. The worst to cut with a torch is rail road rails, I beams and stuff like that aren't anything compared to them.
