| When our son died six years ago we received a large amount of memorials. We set up a 10000 dollar endowed scholar ship fund at the tech school that he attended for one year. He loved it there and it has a fantastic ag program. They issue two 500$ scholarships a year. We specified that they always go to someone in the ag program and we can have a say in who gets them if we want to. We also bought a concrete bench and placed it by the front of our church for people to use while visiting after church. It doesn't get used like I hoped it would but it looks nice there. The rest is just in the memorial fund at church to be used as the members see fit. Maybe it has been used I don't know. | |
