That is a good point about the millet, I let some seed out years ago and it reseeded and was a pain in the butt to get controlled. I’m leaning toward the millet. I never thought about rye or wheat as an option because of heat but now that I think about it we cattle guys around here plant small grains in mid September which is usually 95 degrees or more. Does 25lb/acre of millet sound about right? Or should I increase seeding rate ? Thanks
