That is mostly where I am coming from. Eat what is in YOUR garden. If it couldn't be currently grown in your climate, maybe you shouldn't be eating it...

I don’t know about you, but I have lots of animals that like to be in my garden as well. Deer on a regular basis when my dog is being lazy and even the occasional elk. Pigs and cows seem to especially like the garden when they get out…
