Any car with electric power steering is capable of over power you if your not expecting it, doesn't matter if their is still a solid connection to the steering. You been trusting the cars computer a lot more than you realize.


I do not believe the 1975 F350 I was driving that had the coupler failure has a computer. And I know the 1923 Model T does not. Vacuum tubes were just getting off to a good start back then and the computer was in the future. 

Not sure I put much trust in cars with computers. Of the 10 cars and trucks on this place that run there is only one that is computer controlled and it is also the one that is always giving issues.
