It is definitely a gut punch. I guess talk to the providers you trust and who know your situation. Decide if you still want to look for cures and endure the harshness of the meds and treatments. If so, then look for second opinions and other options. If the decision becomes quality vs quantity, then enjoy the time you have and make it memorable.
