MN | Mrs. Geargrinder here - I would estimate 6 ounces per person - people go to multiple parties and don't eat a full meal at every party (unless your party is the only one that day). Make sure to add in enough water to the mix to keep moist in the roasters or crockpots (which adds to the bulk of the meat). If you have leftovers, taco meat freezes well. Are you doing walking tacos or regular hard shell/soft shell? You could do a trial run and weigh the ingredients for a guess. The first one you always run way over on the estimate - second one is easier to plan! | |
