There have been mentions of hybrids reacting differently to conditions like you mention. Most of this is likely due to seed quality rather than the hybrid itself. I’ve seen examples of two different lots of the same hybrid reacting differently to harsh conditions. Different seed companies have different standards for quality. If the one you buy from doesn’t brag about high standards for quality you should have samples of each hybrid/lot you buy tested for cold germ to find out which ones you can plant early.
