I never said it falls on them. my assumption is the buyer found out and was pissed and threatened some sort of legal action. a lot of theses consignment contracts say the auctioneer can cancel the sale at anytime I assume Ritchie notified the seller that hours may not be accurate or were misrepresnted and cancelled sale to keep buyer happy
