Are you asking about running a single phase motor thru a 3 phase starter?
I don’t think that would be a good idea.
Single phase motors are often wired through 3 phase starters. In fact often larger single phase starters are not available. If the starter has a thermal overload, one leg has to be looped through the starter twice for the thermal to work correctly. The single phase GSI fans I have purchased recently are wired this way.
