About the only time we replace a 3 phase motor anymore is because it somehow gets single-phased.
New bearings for that motor are probably less than $40.
What’s a new long shaft 3 phase cost these days?
And to answer your question.
Are you asking about running a single phase motor thru a 3 phase starter?
I don’t think that would be a good idea.
