Southeast South Dakota | when i do monthly sales tax remittance to South Dakota:,
If I send a bill out for survices in the country I add a 4.2% sales tax charge.
If I send a bill out for a service performed in a certain municipality then I also add their respective sales tax percentage usually 2%
I just say Sales Tax 6.2% and use one line
Then in the monthly remittance I have to list how much of sales goto each town and remit one check to the State
I am assuming that the State remits back to the municipalities their proper share.
