ncia
My neighbors had 2 i20x50 stave silos with roofs. They would fill the second up to the spout , then go up and flip up the end portion of the blower spout and mostly fill up the entire roof dome.( they had 1 silo unloader and it as at the top of the other silo.) They chopped with a 2 row chopper and it took a few days so not a lot of settling. When they wanted to start feeding they then had to throw down by hand until almost 1 1/2 doors were uncovered so unloader would work. When one silo was empty they would completely dismantle the unloader and pull it up the chute and put it together on the second silo. A little work never bothered them.
